Looking to Coach Jr Highers with 15 years experience playing!

My name is Jayleen. I am currently a college student at Metro and go to classes only twice a week and have time to teach a sport I have really grown to love!

I have played basketball for 15 years and I love it. I want to become a coach after watching my cousins basketball games (she is in 7th grade) and learning that i have a lot to teach kids in that age group! I think that age is important to help their skills but to also learn the game from a players perspective!

After playing for so many years I think teaching kids around that age would help them focus on their future and help them along the way! Being young will help them learn from a view that not many can provide!

When I look back to when I was playing I had many coaches! Young and old, and each one had a positive effect on me! I have enough knowledge and dedication to teach developing teens that this sport is very fun and much is available to those to play if they will just open their eyes!
