Pass & Go Circle - Youth Basketball Passing Drills

by Peter
(Westminster, CO)

Level of Difficulty: Easy

Great for 4 to 6 players.

Make a circle at mid-court, diameter about 4 to 6 feet. (Increase size to raise level of difficulty) One player in the middle. First player passes to middle player, and goes after his pass moving into the middle of the circle. Middle player passes to next player in circle (clockwise) and moves out of the circle to replace where the previous player came from. Ball may not touch the ground, use chest passes. Next pass is back to the middle again continuing to work around the circle with the middle player switching out each time.

Make it a competition with a limit of 100 passes from middle to outside of circle without dropping the ball. If ball hits floor, start over again, and let players count loudly. If done well, also try overhead passes.

This will help with quickness with foot work as well as the ability to quickly catch a ball and pass it again.
